Spring season starts on Tuesday 10.1.2023.
Hämeenlinna Taekwondo Club
Hämeenlinna Taekwondo club was founded in 1984. We are part of The Finnish Taekwondo Union. We offer high-quality training in the fast-paced and versatile martial arts. In Taekwondo, you can practice kicks, punches, self-defense techniques, parries, sparring and sets of moves (poomsae). Hämeenlinna taekwondo club practices World Taekwondo (WT), which is an official Olympic sport.
Training schedules:
Tuesdays 17:30 - 19:00
Thursdays 18:30 - 20:00
Saturdays 10:00 - 11:30
We train in Lyseo's school gym, which is located opposite of the Hämeenlinna library. The address is Linnankatu 12-14. Entrance from the side of Birger Jaarlin katu.
Exact location of the entrance:
We strive to create opportunities for playful martial arts training and to develop children's teamwork skills and mental and physical qualities under the guidance of trained instructors. The minimum age for a child is 8 years
Beginners course
The new beginners course started on January 24, 2023. The next course will take place in autumn 2023. More information closer to the date.
Prices
A seasonal fee is €80 which is paid twice a year for the spring and autumn seasons. The annual membership fee is €20.

Family discount
If more than one member comes from the same family, the other family members can join for half price.
Example: Jack practices taekwondo and his fee for the fall season is €80. Jack's siblings John and Mia are also starting taekwondo, their fee for the fall season is €40/person. In this case, Jack, Jonh and Mia's payment for the autumn season is a total of €80 + €40 + €40 = €160.
The family discount only applies to season fees.
